The Boboli and Bardini Gardens - 3 hours

On this tour you visit and become familiar with the two largest Italian gardens in Florence.

In 1549, Cosimo I commissioned Tribolo, architect, sculptor and landscape gardener, to create the Boboli Gardens. As a result, he converted the hill behind the Palazzo Pitti into an extraordinarily beautiful garden. Together with Ammannati's courtyard and terrace, it became the setting for lavish pageants and also a natural continuation to the palace.

A short distance from Boboli, is the Bardini Garden, named after the antiquarian Stefano Bardini, who donated it to the city. Here we find 4 hectares of remarkable beauty from which it is possible to enjoy one of the most spectacular views of Florence.
